Management Trainee – Singapore

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create presentations on behalf of Deputy Chairman and CEO.
  • Represent the Deputy Chairman and CEO by attending meetings in their absence; speak on their behalf as needed.
  • Work closely and effectively with the Deputy Chairman and CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up promptly and appropriately.
  • Act as a barometer, bearing a sense of the developments taking place in the internal and external environment and keeping the Deputy Chairman and CEO regularly updated.
  • Doing desk research around key interest topics related to the company: for eg. One Belt One Road initiative, Internet of Things (IOT), other exciting new innovations and developments.
  • Prepare and edit (occasionally confidential) internal and external executive correspondence and communications on behalf of the Deputy Chairman and CEO.
  • Own and manage extremely active calendars of appointments by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel meetings.
  • Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas and compile related documents for overseas travel meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of working experience preferred, entry level candidates are welcome.
  • Experience supporting C-Level Executives advantageous.
  • Experience and interest in internal and external communications.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Excellent command of and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
