UI/UX Developer – Singapore

Responsibilities:

  • Executing story boards, wire frames and interactive design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Lead product ideation and translate these into functional designs to solve real world business and operational issues through the effective use of design and information architecture.
  • Consult and participate in briefings to gather requirements and present ideas for applications and features.
  • Participate in user research to uncover user needs and distil data into meaningful insights, translating to user personas and scenarios.
  • Prepares low fidelity prototypes of sites/features (ranging from paper-and-pencil concepts to wireframes or interactive prototypes) for internal review and brain storming. Capable of gauging technical feasibility of the prototype.
  • Presents high fidelity designs/mock-ups to the customer for review/iteration/approval. Capable of working directly with customers in an iterative/agile manner to dramatically improve the prototypes in a short time and able to explain his/her design concept verbally and in writing.
  • Stay abreast and ahead of interactive design and technology trends to develop tomorrow’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive end to end product consistency.
  • Assist in the development of product marketing content and communication of such information to the rest of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Design for Interactivity/Visual Communication/User Interface or related fields.
  • Three or more years of UX/UI design experience. Should possess knowledge of development frameworks for HTML 5 and mobile development platforms for iOS and Android.
  • Demonstrate strong appreciation and knowledge of UX and fundamental design principles and development methodologies (including live style guides, responsive design principles, coding languages)
  • Possess strong conceptualization ability and exceptional visual design skills (sketches, storyboards, wire frames, screen mockups, flow diagrams etc), with meticulous attention to details.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical and process-oriented problem-solving skills
